Moi's art wedgie!
The beautiful picture was made by regular reader and commenter "moi" using the art widget! The title is "Desert soaring."
I set up a little gallery here to showcase these amazing pieces of art. Bonnie and Rick have contributed some super cool pieces that I don't want to forget! You can see the gallery by clicking on the Art Wedgie link on the left sidebar!
I think I will start featuring the art wedgies as my cam pic in the upper left hand corner of this site from time to time.

Cindy, these fabulous creations are done by clicking on that little square on Birdie's right sidebar (below the ((hint hint)) donate button and above the "
Recent Comments" section) You click on the different colors in the multi-block box to choose your "paint" and take it from there. Unlike the experts in our midst, I totally suck at anything "artistic"

Carroll, I was just wondering if Moi used a tablet computer with a pen or if she created that with a mouse.
I have, indeed, seen the widget under the "DONATE!" button. The little gray "DONATE!" button just seems so tiny, so I wonder if others see the "DONATE!" button.
Okay, I am out of ways to add "DONATE!" to this comment. Can you think of any more ways to remind others that there is a "DONATE!" button over there? :D

So Cindy and Carroll, what would I do with the DONATE button if I clicked on it? Oh, I get it... I would be able to express my appreciation for the entertainment, camaraderie and wisdom that Birdie provides to me FREE on a daily basis. So that means I would get to GIVE a $$DONATION$$ to a single mother who works her butt off to help others whenever she can!
hm. That might be more worthwhile than going to the movies this weekend... maybe I'll just rent a video instead, and DONATE the movie buck$$$ to La Pajaro.

Cindy! Bonnie!! Truly excellent work there, my friends. I would far FAR rather make a donation to our Bird Girl, who makes the world a better place one-human-to-another on a daily basis, than to any politician, however principled, I've yet to meet.
And Cindy, were I more techno-savvy I would probably have figured out your question. But no. (doh!)
And were I as smrat as you in the first place I'd have mentioned the DONATE button in big bright letters like you did :)
Anyone spiffy enough to make a DONATE thing with the art widget?

oops sorry... i'm late in answering questions! to cindy- just drew w/ a mouse :) just took some patience and creative manipulation with the different brush sizes. fyi, i found out towards the end of the drawing that it's possible to zoom in on the art widget- just right click, and the popup will let u zoom in as many times as you right click and choose that option. to return to normal, just right click and select "show all". that helped me tidy up a few mistakes i'd made earlier- so it's useful! anyways, glad everybody liked my purty pic, thanks! :)
