Happy Birthday to 10!!!!!

The boys are out of school today, tomorrow, and through Monday, so it's party central at the Jaworski residence!

I'm slowly starting to feel better after three days of absolute misery. Yeah, I'm behind on EVERYTHING, and I am still limited in the amount of time I can sit pain-free, but you'll see me peeking my head out from under the covers now...

Much love to one and all, think of me tomorrow chasing 6 invited friends and the Good Lord knows how many more during the big birthday fiesta!

The first night of 12

Here's Mr. 12, feeling a wee bit queasy with the post-flu blues, looking dashing and oh-so mature in his smoking jacket, overlooking a homemade chocolate cake, resplendent with miniature pink sugar pigs. Yes, I know they look like maggots in this photos, but trust me (and JK, who sent 'em to me), they be pork!

I followed the recipe on the back of the Hershey's tin, both cake and frosting. I am too dizzy today to have attempted a layer cake. And, since I only had three candles in the junk drawer, I did his numerals in binary. 'Tis the digital age!

Formal party is Saturday! Be there or be square!

I have a special story I'm hoping to post tonight about a man who watches and creates concepts, another man who is ruled by photons, a girl with ideas she can't yet hold, and a bag of ordinary marshmallows. As usual, I am fiddling with the ending before I post it. I have to post it today, though, because it's also a story about Carroll, but shhhhhh, she doesn't know that yet!
