So what's everyone doing this fine Sunday? 9 held a sleepover with Cat Boy (now THERE'S a story) and Eat Everything In Site Kid. They are sledding down Pork Chop Hill with 12 at the moment, and I have a Tres Leches Cake in the oven, story and recipe to come after I see how it exits the oven, how it soaks, how it tastes.

I'm still woefully behind in everything. I have a story on Poetry to shortly appear at BlogHer, just waiting, waiting. My gov tossed his hat into the presidential ring this morning, so expect to see all kinds of funny New Mexico stories in the news. This state is the Land of Enchantment, the Land of High Strangeness, the Land of Eccentricity and Ranchers and Cowboys and Red and Green. I still don't know where I fit on the sliding scale, somewhere between Native American and Sorry Ass Santa Fe Wanna Be Artist.
